What we do with your artwork

• We auto-trim unnecessary space from your artwork. Transparent margin is removed before sizing and pricing.
• Colors may vary slightly when converting from RGB (screen) to CMYK (print). Screens show color in RGB, which covers a wider range than the CMYK inks used in printing. Very vivid RGB colors fall outside the CMYK range and may print slightly duller.
• What you upload and see here is exactly what we'll print. Image quality is your responsibility. Blurry, pixelated or low-resolution uploads are not covered.

Preparing your artwork

• Original image should be minimum 300 dpi and in PNG, SVG or JPEG format.
• Note: enlarging a 300dpi image (i.e. from 3" to 9") and exporting it may cause pixelation and quality issues.
• Color shifts can occur when converting to CMYK for UV DTF printing.
• Do not mirror your image.
• We recommend a minimum of 2pt or 4px for small fonts or thin lines to ensure the ink is applied properly.
• Avoid neon glow, gradients, and soft edges. DTF printers can have issues printing these designs accurately.
• We print what we receive. Spelling, placement, sizing, and image quality will not be fixed by our team.

What is UV DTF, and why should I choose it for my projects?

UV DTF is a new printing technology that uses a UV printer to generate transfer stickers for hardgoods and promotional products. No equipment is needed to apply a UV DTF to your product. UV DTF is extremely durable, waterproof, scratch-resistant, and does not fade or wear like other sticker technologies.

UV DTF works with a wide range of hard goods and promotional products, offering flexibility and enabling you to create long-lasting, retail-quality products from home.

How does the DTF printing process work and how can I use the transfers?

Once uploaded, your design will be printed onto a specialized film and shipped directly to you. Apply the stickers using the instructions below to adhere your design permanently to the product of your choosing.

Can I request custom sizes for my DTF transfers at Jiffy Transfers?

Yes, you can specify custom sizes for your UV DTF transfer images when you upload your image.

How do I ensure optimal quality for my designs when uploading them?

To achieve the highest quality printing results, your design files are required to have a minimum of 300dpi. We accommodate various file types, including PNG and SVG (vector). Please ensure your design is clear and of high resolution to achieve the best results.

What is a gang sheet?

A gang sheet refers to printing material that contains multiple images or designs arranged closely together. This method is used to optimize the use of space and materials during the printing process.

How can I achieve 300 DPI?

Achieving 300 DPI (dots per inch) ensures high-quality prints. To achieve 300 DPI with your image, multiply the print size (width and height in inches) by 300 to find the right pixel dimensions.

What design techniques should I avoid in my DTF prints to maximize quality?

UV DTF works and looks best with bold, colorful designs. Ensure your design is at the desired size, not mirrored, and without background parts (if required). Additionally, avoid using grayscale gradients, transparency effects, neon effects, and glow effects for optimal results.

How does the pricing for DTF printing on Jiffy Transfers work? How is it calculated?

Our UV DTF pricing is calculated based on a per square inch rate. As soon as you upload your design and select the size, the price is calculated based on the total square inches and the number of images.

Are there discounts for bulk orders?

Absolutely! Just like our shirts, our tiered pricing ensures that the more transfers you order, the more you save, all while ensuring top-notch quality.

Can I order both DTF transfers and blank shirts together?

Yes. Jiffy Transfers facilitates a seamless shopping experience for crafters. You can either order the UV DTF transfers separately or add them to your blank shirt or regular DTF order at checkout. Blanks and transfers will be processed and shipped separately, though we strive to align delivery times of blanks and transfers whenever possible.

What’s the turnaround time for my DTF print orders?

Speed is one of our strengths. Typically, UV DTF orders are produced and shipped within a business day, and similar to blanks, we utilize the fastest ground shipping methods available.

What are the shipping procedures, and are there promotional offers?

UV DTF orders that exceed $29 will enjoy free shipping. This can also be combined with regular DTF to hit the $29 required for free shipping!

What's Jiffy Transfers's stance on trademarked designs?

Jiffy Transfers does not print trademarked designs without rights holder permission. Customers must ensure their designs don't infringe on copyrights or trademarks. Unauthorized submissions can result in order cancellations.

Will my UV DTF stickers be cut to the shape of my design?

It depends on the option you choose. By default, UV DTF stickers arrive together on a gang sheet, so you trim each design yourself. If you select the pre-cut option, every sticker is cut to the exact outline of your design, so a round design comes back round and ready to peel and apply.

How should I apply the DTF transfers I get from Jiffy Transfers?

No special equipment is required to apply UV DTF transfers to your product!

Follow these instructions for best results:

1. Clean the product you are applying the transfer to using an alcohol wipe or gentle dish soap, then let dry completely.
2. Peel the transfer off of the white backing, ensuring all pieces lift off evenly. Be careful not to touch the adhesive.
3. Position the transfer and then slowly stick it onto the product (remember these transfers are meant to be permanent, so apply carefully).
4. Once the transfer is applied, remove any bubbles or wrinkles with firm pressure using your fingers or a credit card edge, starting from the middle, and smoothing outwards.
5. After you have smoothed the transfer out, apply pressure using your fingers to ensure it has adhered evenly.
6. Finally, slowly peel the clear layer on the front of your design. Do this diagonally (from the top left corner to the bottom right corner, for example).

Note: If the transfer pulls up with the clear layer, push it back down and firmly press it back into place before trying to remove it again.

Care Instructions: While UV DTF is incredibly durable, to ensure longevity we recommend avoiding dishwashers and microwaves whenever possible. Handwashing will help maintain the quality and adherence of the transfer for years to come. UV DTF will hold up well to wear and tear, but be aware that a hard drop or tough scratch may still cause damage to the transfer.

What is Jiffy Transfers's cancellation and refund policy?

Transfers are printed for your order and cannot be cancelled once ordered. If we cannot ship it on time, you can cancel it for a full refund. If you receive a transfer that is damaged or encounter any issues with your order, please reach out to our support team.

If a transfer arrives damaged or defective, or does not match the file you approved, tell us within 72 hours of delivery through Contact Us and we will reprint it free. We cannot reprint for the resolution, content, or any errors in the digital file you approved.

Do UV DTF stickers need a heat press?

No. UV DTF stickers are peel-and-stick and do not need a heat press. You peel the transfer from its backing and press it by hand onto a clean, smooth, hard surface such as a tumbler, mug, glass, metal, or plastic. No heat, water, or special tools are required to apply them.

How do I measure a UV DTF cup wrap for a tumbler?

To size a UV DTF cup wrap, measure the tumbler two ways. Wrap a flexible tape around the widest point for the circumference, then measure the printable height from just below the rim to the base. Use those dimensions with the by-size option so your wrap meets edge to edge.

Are UV DTF cup wraps dishwasher safe?

To keep UV DTF cup wraps looking their best, hand-wash the item and avoid the dishwasher, since harsh dishwasher heat and jets can cause the wrap to crack or lift over time. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth instead. Applied to smooth hard surfaces like glass, ceramic, stainless steel, or plastic cups, the wraps resist fading and scratching.
