Jacket is great for monogram. Wearing size is medium shirts ( gap, life is good, Tommy Bahama -for example) waste size 32 & the medium fit perfect. We had ordered a small but returned for medium- GREAT jacket

They seem to be a bit bigger than I would have thought. We did order one of each size for people to try on. I would recommend that.
