• Why does puff printing need bold lines?

  Puff printing uses a special ink or transfer that expands and rises when heated, giving a raised, 3D look. Because the print puffs up, designs need bold lines and enough space between elements; very thin lines and tight negative spaces can close up or distort as they rise.

  Yes. Before your custom order prints, Jiffy shows a print preview when you upload your design, so you see exactly how and where it will appear on the garment. For orders using PrintPerfect, our team reviews the artwork and flags any quality issues, like low resolution or thin lines, before production begins.

• What resolution or PNG size should my design be for printing on a t-shirt?

  For crisp custom prints, set your design to 300 DPI. To find the pixel size, multiply the print dimensions in inches by 300: a 10 by 12 inch front print needs a 3000 by 3600 pixel file. Save as a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background so only your artwork prints.
