I ran a high school printshop doing several thousand shirts a year, and have retired. I still am using shirts from Jiffy and I like the Gildans. I have never had a complaint about the quality or weight of the shirts and have done shirts for school drama programs, Scout troops, girls camps, and school clubs. All are for active youth and they get used! I have kids still using shirts 10 years later, and the shirts still hold color and silk screened designs.

Great shirts that screen print easily. Shirts hold up after multiple washings without losing color or shape. In the south the 5.3 oz is cool and comfortable for the heat and humidity we see. Gilden is always my first choice for t shirts!

The sizing is perfect for me (and I generally am in between sizes of small and medium). Fits much like other blank zip sweatshirt brands. The zipper was of surprisingly high quality metal and zips smoothly--which is something that irritates me about Hanes sweatshirts in that their zippers are so crappy. Much like Hanes, however, the elastic at the waist is somewhat tight and will cause the sweatshirt to rise up with movement. I always have to pull my sweatshirt down to lay flat after bending down or sitting. Anyway, it's worth the price.

These were used for screen printing and heat transfer vinyl. They worked perfectly. Nice weight and excellent price Will definitely buy again I love Jiffy!

This is a luxurious hoodie at an amazing price. I use these hoodies for premium tie-dye orders and they dye up BEAUTIFULLY compared to a 50/50 cotton/poly blend (those also dye up just fine, but the Independent Trading Company hoodies look like a watercolor dream). In general, these just feel like butter, especially after the first wash. I do find them to be a bit of a skinner fit (and a longer torso) and other brands, FYI. Will surely continue to purchase again and again.

Thirty-eight professional musicians wore color-coded shirts to identify his/her family of instruments on stage. Children at school concerts could clearly and easily recognize strings, brass, woodwinds and percussion. I bought these sweatshirts hoping that they would be OK. Boy was I surprised when I got them. They are by far superior to shirts costing twice as much. They have been washed several times already and zero shrinkage or pilling. I am impressed to say the least. I will be without a doubt buying more. The shipping is also as good as the product. I make handmade tie dye shirts to sell on eBay and Etsy and the Gildan G500 is my go to choice for shirt blanks. The quality and price point of these shirts cannot be beat. The fabric is the perfect thickness. It’s not too heavy where it feels hot to wear, but it’s also not so light that it’s see through. It’s also the perfect length where it’s long enough to be tucked in but doesn’t look strange if not tucked in. The cotton also takes the dye beautifully. I’ve bought hundreds of these shirts and will continue to buy them in the future.
